Saying goodbye to Daddy!

Tyler left last week for a 6 week deployment to Afghanistan with his guard unit! We will miss him dearly and pray that all is well and everyone comes home on time safe and sound in October.

Mia is on the move!

Mia is on the move and has been for a month already. We are in sooooo much trouble, shes quick and has no
fear, definitely a Thompson!

Although green beans are not one of Mia’s fav foods there is little else on the menu that she dislikes. So I thought……..at least before trying out Turkey , smells a little like catfood with a similar texture, I don’t blame her! Here are a few pictures of her baby food turkey face….priceless!

Sweet Potatoes!

With more sweet potatoes on her face than in her belly we are still trying to master the art of eating from a spoon. Here's Mia, 4 months old and ready to be a foodie! This picture was taken about a month ago at our 1st big girl food experience! Although sweet potatoes and bananas seem to be her favs, so far we've tried carrots, green beans, apples, bananas, prunes, cereal and the latest and least favorite of all......Peas!

Mia's 1st flight

At 8 weeks old, she's already a natural traveler........guess it runs in the family.

Daddy flew the c-130 to San Diego for a military trip so we decided to tag along and meet him there. Besides spending a few days in Houston after Christmas this was our 1st trip since Mia was born. San Diego was also our last trip together before Mia came along.

Mia and I were stuck in the middle seat on our flight home. Luckily we didn't make any enemies on the full flight, she was an absolute angel.
This Sit n Stroll is the best invention ever! It's a car seat with wheels, a MUST HAVE for traveling with kids!
